TimeMachine

Hello,

Since a few weeks when TimeMachine is making a backup and AVG FileShield is running the MAC BP is rebooting.
I uninstall AVG, reinstall but it doesn't help.

Any remedy ?

Hello Jm,

We will look into it. Are you able to create a backup when AVG File shield is disabled?
Open AVG Antivirus -> File Shield -> click on toggle bar to turn it off and check the status.

Hello,

Answer is clearly yes, FileShield is disabled and TimeMachine working as usual.
Re-enabling will rapidly make the Mac going in Panic and reboot.

We have sent an email instruction which will help you to send us the logs.
May I ask whether the TimeMachine backup is stored in your Mac or in an external drive?

We have released a new version of AVG AntiVirus version 19.4. Please check if you have the latest version of AVG installed and see if that fix the issue related with backup on your computer.
