AVG Internet security gone

Hi All,
I have been using AVG Int.Sec. for many years, but all of a sudden (after an update) it switched back to AVG Virus Free edition. My subscription is valid until Nov 2018, I have a new license key/Act code, but the Anti-Virus Free version does NOT give me the possibility to enter a new license code. I get forwarded to purchase a license for AVG Int.Sec. only. I have already tried to uninstall the Anti-Virus Free edition and install the AVG Int.Sec. again, but it only restores the exact same situation. Apparently Anti-Virus Free and Int.Sec. are the same basic software. Uninstalling the Anti-Virus Free also asks me if I want to uninstall AVG Int.Sec.
Any ideas on how to get my AVG Internet Security version back ?
Thx,

-Peter-

Thank you for providing screenshot Peter,
I request you to open AVG Internet Security (as in the screenshot) > My AVG > My Subscription > enter license number. If you see your email address then click on logout at first. After that you will be able to see enter license number option.
Best regards,
Alok.

Hi Karthikeyan,

Thanks for the feedback. I tried this link already, but the AVG AntiVirus Free version that pops up now (instead of the AVG Internet Security one before) does not give me the option to enter a activation Code. Only a purchase link. I even tried to run the purchase for a (free) 1 year trial subscription but it prompts me to enter my PayPal credentials to pay the € 0,00. My trust in AVG has deminished insofar that I do not want to go this route yet. This is the screen I get (the Info button only gives information about the free version.

I have exactly the same problem. How was this resolved? I have entered the activation code and the screen shows the expiry as 28/12/18. But it is still AVG free and no way to get back AVG Internet Security. Pls help

I have the same problem, but there is no "MY AVG" tab. I have been an AVG customer for over 10 years and have a direct debit set up. This has happened twice in the last 6 months.

Hello Alex,
I understand the inconvenience caused, let's work together to fix this issue.
You have installed AVG Antivirus Free old/previous version, which is why the My AVG button is not available in their interface.
In this case, I request you to remove AVG completely along with any previous traces using the AVG clear tool/AVG Remover tool and then do a fresh installation of AVG. This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version.
Please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product) to run AVG Remover tool and AVG Clear tool.
After the computer reboots, you can follow the instruction to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security.
Best regards,
Alok.
