AVG Web/Mail Shield Root

Why do all websites show AVG Web/Mail Shield Root as the certifying authority?
This did not happen before I installed AVG.

Hello Darshan,
We have received a reply from our senior team and they confirmed that the issue is because of Web Shield and our https protection.
Best regards,
Alok.

So what is the solution?User-added image

Tim,
Sorry for the delay, this is because of SSL scanning in e-mail shield. First,  import certificate to Outlook.

Please export the Mail Shield certificate:

1. Open the AVG user interface and click Settings.
2. In the Settings window, select Components and click Customize next to Mail Shield.
3. In the Mail Shield Settings window, select SSL scanning from the left panel and ensure the box next to Scan SSL connections is ticked. Then, click Export certificate.
4. Select a location to save the exported Mail Shield certificate (for example, your Windows Desktop) and click Save.
5. When a message appears that "AVG Mail Shield has been successfully exported" click OK.

After that import it to Outlook and if that doesn't help then add server to global exceptions.
