AVG Secure Search

How can I stop AVG overwriting my Browser (Firefox Quantum) home page with AVG Secure Search. I have tried changing the search setting in Firefox and this makes no difference. This is extremely annoying.

I understand the inconvenience caused.
I request you to remove AVG Secure Search add-on from the Firefox Quantum browser and check whether the issue persists.
I also request you to check in control panel (uninstall program) window whether any program named mentioned as "AVG Web TuneUp".
If yes, please proceed to (uninstall) it and keep us informed about the status.
