Unable to completely uninstall AVG or install anything else now!

I received this laptop from my parents and I have my own antivirus. Norton Sec Suite. I have attempted to remove AVG in order to install Norton and I am unable to do anything. I manually removed AVG from the sys folders after it would uninstall but would still prevent me from installing Norton. I am locked out of the last file that is preventing me from completely removing ALL AVG traces. I am also unable to install any removal tools; or anything, for that matter. how do I fix this!!! So disappointed!!!

Please run AVG Clear first and then run AVG remover tool.

If you face any difficulties, please let us know and we will assist you further.

Thank you for the quick response. If you read everything that I have stated in my original post, you will see that I am unable to install anything else. I continue to get a errors when installing. Please advise next steps.I have spent 9 hours on this incident, so far.

Yes, I do understand that you aren't able to run AVG removal tools.
May I know whether you received any error while running AVG removal tool?

After attempting to install my other Anti-Virus, I was blocked by the system saying that there was already a different Anti-Virus installed and that I would have to first remove that one before I install mine. That is when i attempted to DL the removal tool and recieved the error in the previous post.

As i previously mentionsed, I was unable to ever DL(Download) the removal tool, after I initially attempted to delete the program via Programs and Features. What is my next steps?

I appreciate your efforts and patience so far. Please try to run the AVG Clear tool alone and remove the traces. If you face any difficulties, reboot your PC in Safe mode with Networking and run the Clear tool.

These responses are very frustrating. Are you a bot with auto responses? I have stated and provided proof that I am being prevented from downloading anything.
