Temporarily turn off AVG protection

I need to install some software, but the instructions say I need to turn off my antivirus protection while doing this. How do I temporarily turn off AVG protection, and later turn it back on?

Hello Harvey,

You can follow the steps mentioned (here) to disable AVG Antivirus/Internet Security temporarily.
The same steps can be followed to move the cursor for turning on the protection.
