It is not protected

After updating the program, the program indicates "it is not protected". The repair button now does not work.

How can I solve this fault?

We will help you sort it out. Could you let me know the version of AVG Protection installed on your computer, to check this open AVG Protection > Menu/option > about.
I also request you to share a screenshot of the AVG Protection user interface to proceed further.
You can post the screenshot here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

This could be an issue with incomplete installation of latest definition. We'd request to uninstall AVG and re install it to resolve the issue. Click here to uninstall AVG. Then, refer to instructions in this link to download and install AVG Anti Virus free.
