AVG Internet Security / Anti Virus 64 bit

What version does the standard download install 32 / 64 bit. If its 32 how do I get the 64 bit version?

We will let you know about it. May I know the bits (32/64) running on your computer? Please press Windows logo button + Pause Break button to check the computer bits size.

Hello Roger,

The common installer of AVG will automatically detect whether your computer is running 32/64 bit before the installation.

And initiate the installation depending on the bit version.

If you would like to try to offline installer, we do have a separate link for 32 and 64 bit versions.

Is AVGUI.exe 32 bit only as that is what I see in the task manager. Is there anyway to check what has been installed ?

Yes, it will show only the 32 bit processes on your computer and it will not show the 64 bit which will run in the background.

Roger, All drivers and processes that scans your computer are 64 bit x64 files, only UI and some non essential parts are 32 bit x86 files.
