Schedule Scan

My daily scheduled scan stopped working on AVG Free.  The help section says to schedule a scan, click on the gear icon next to Scan Computer.  There is no longer a gear icon there.  How do I schedule a scan now?

You can post the screenshot here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

I am using AVG Free version 18.7.3069 (build 18.7.4041.389
The interface used to look like this  User-added image and to set up a scheduled scan one would click on the gear icon next to the words Scan Computer.  Now the Interface is Current interface has no gear icon   I just need to know how to schedule a daily scan on the version I now have.  Thanks

Thank you for providing us the screenshots.

AVG Internet Security program has generated a scan report that is why you see a different icon next to "Scan Computer".

What happens when you click on that new icon? Do you see any scan report?

If so please click OK on the scan report and then again click on the Settings icon next to Scan Computer.

And check if it takes you to the schedule scan page.

I'm using AVG Free version 18.7.3069 (nuilf 18.7.4041.389.   I don't understand what a screenshot will show you except that there used to be a gear icon next to Scan Computer on the AVG interface that one could click to schedule a scan.  Old interface with gear icon  The new interface has no gear icon.  New interface has no gear icon to click to schedule scan I just need to know how to schedule a scan.  Thanks

Thank you for the screenshot.
Click on the marked space as shown in below image and see whether you get the gear icon.

The icon that you see now is to view the scan results. Once it is viewed, you should get back the gear icon.

I was mistaken about the scheduled scan not working. Yestersay my  AVG Free interface was showing that my last scan was 18 days ago, but I had forgotten that I had temporarily  advanced my computer calendar  to December 1 to preview an advent calendar that starts on that day. That's what accounted for the 18 days.  .  

My scheduled scan starts at 9:00 PM.  This morning  I clicked on the icon next to SCAN COMPUTER and got the results of my scheduled scan.  And then I got back the gear icon just as you said I would.
