idp.alexa.52

I scanned a file before installing it using AVG itself. Upon installation, I received an error that the file is infected with idp.alexa.52. I allowed it to be installed since im sure that it is clean. After the installation, I scanned the file again and confirmed that it is clean.

Is this a bug with the current AVG. I'm currently testing the trial to check if this is good with detection.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot, Ralph.

The file path is detected from temp folder is from a third party setup file. I suggest you to delete the particular file by following the file path and run a scan with AVG.

Please let us know if you receive the same detection.

As I have mentioned before, I have scanned the files using AVG before installation and nothing was detected. During the installation, this is the error message received:
Once it was installed, I scanned the files and performed a deep scan but nothing was detected.

Could this be a bug in AVG?
