Hello Peter,

We're sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Please ignore my previous post.
May I ask from when you started experiencing the issue with AVG Firewall?

Hi ,
This problem started after the april 1 update.
I followed the article to repar the installation but that had no effect.
I then un-installed all AVG apps and did a registry clean after reboot.
I just installed the avg_internet_security_setup.exe and the problem is gone.

Hi Peter,

Great to hear that the firewall issue has been fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling the AVG.
I highly appreciate your effort here.
Could you please provide us the screenshot of the window where we can see the product's version?

Hi, I had the same issue and posted a question below.  Since then have been reviewing some old threads and found one that suggested going to Menu\Settings\Troubleshooting.  Scrolling down to the "Reset All Settings" section and Clicking the "Reset To Default" option.  On reboot it resolved my issue, maybe you could consider trying that.  Hope it helps...
