avg and fixmestick can't locate a trojan the online microsoft virus scanner picked up but only parcially removed. Reseaching on the web I find it is a trojan called win32/lodi I've tried many ways to completely rid of my system but have failed. Any help would be appreciated. I am at the end (2 days left) of a avg trial full protection...
We will certainly look into this and help you. Could you share the screenshot of trojan that was picked by online Microsoft virus scanner? You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

not sure want you mean by screen shot? The scan took several hours to complete full scan. At the end it said 1 threat Win32/Lodi partially remove. I had the fixmestick people try to find any problems in my computer but they failed to remove want was left because I ran the online microsoft and yes it was microsofts scanner...
Chris, could you please confirm that the threat was detected by the AVG Deep Scan? If yes, could you please scan again and check whether the same threat is listed. Keep us posted.
No this threat (Trojan) Win32/Lodi was not detected by AVG Deep Scan. I just ran again... I was not detected by fixmestick either and their support could not find it. It was detected by https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/threat-protection/intelligence/safety-scanner-download 64 bit scan and it said it was only partially removed. Online chats talk about this trojan, and I have unsuccessfully tried to find where it may partially be? Is AVG aware of this trojan, that many on the internet seem to be?
Chris, thank you for the information. Please take a screenshot (https://bit.ly/2X6RPHf) of the AVG scan window where it shows the infection is partially removed.
