AVG TuneUp wont install

When I click on activate and install for AVG Tuneup in my subscriptions it launches and then says 
AVG TuneUp            failed
Every other option has installed and is running fine.  Please help.

Hi Dawn,

We're glad to help you with this.
From your description, we see that there is an older version of AVG PC TuneUp installed on your computer.
Hence, you're receiving the message as failed upon attempting to 'activate & install'.
In this regard, you may need to remove the older version using AVG Remover & then install, activate the latest version.
As it isn't recommended to share the license info over this post, we've sent you the activation code via email.
Please use it to activate & let us know if it helps.

Thank you for your quick response.
We have the multi device subscription and have been installing avg on several other devices.  Before I remove it I have a couple of questions:
by using the AVG Remover, will this affect the subscription in any way, making it look like I have added it to another device instead of replacing it on a device?
And does this remove everything that was in the subscription which includes, antivirus, vpn, password and tuneup?
Will we need to do this on the other devices as well?

Dawn, we're glad to clarify.
AVG Remover tool will not affect your subscription. It will detect and remove the 2017 and earlier versions of AVG programs.
It would not remove antivirus, VPN or password protection. If you have the older version of AVG PC TuneUp installed on your PC, you need to run the remover tool on them too.

I just ran the AVG remover tool.  After restart, went to my AVG icon, and clicked on AVG TuneUp in my subscriptions.  Again it says Failed.
