VPN app doesn't recognize my Ultimate subscription

Same trying to sign in, when trying to activate VPN , system doesn't recognize my acct / Ultimate subscription  thru 11/2021. This non recognition happens most of the time. After many years using the Ultimate, one would think this time wasting (insulting) issue would be fixed !!!

You have AVG Ultimate which is a combination of Internet Security and TuneUp.
Since you do not have a AVG Secure VPN subscription, you are not able to activate the login credentials.

I thought Ultimate includes VPN, supposedly being the best available..

It was a recent update to include the AVG Secure VPN in the AVG Ultimate.
So the recently purchased AVG Ultimate will include AVG Secure VPN.

As you see I have a 2 year subscription purchased approximately Nov 2019. I don't know what 'recently purchased' means, as updates should be issued. Anyways, it was my understanding that Ultimate is and always was precicely that, which includes everything. Anyway, I tried to activate the VPN and it asks if I want to buy Ultimate, and then asks if I want to start a 'TRIAL', before purchasing it. I also see when I go to my acct of various media, one says Ultimate, another says Pro. Whats up?

Per the below from AVG product description, the is conflicting content details of the Ultimate which state VPN, and other protections, etc all coverage is for Windows/Apple PC's, and Android/Apple phones.
However, my Android phone (and you) mention PRO, that a separate purchase is required for VPN, and some other Ultimate elements, for phones.

Further to my above; When I try to use the Software Updater feature, the program request I purchase a program. However, the front cover of ULTIMATE states; "AUTO SOFTWARE UPDATER".
The detailed description states:

Re: Duplicate Programs, etc
Non Geeks (myself included) cannot determine which duplcates should be removed. So the program is almost usless to 'us'. It would be helpful and logical if ULTIMATE would indicate which duplicates can/should be safely removed.

You have to activate your subscription in your program to make use of the available options.
That is why you have been asked to purchase.
You do not have to worry because the scan results will be very clear for the customer to understand.
You can clear see the duplicate (having two same applications) which are installed and option to remove them.

Hi Rakshith, 
Thanks for your reply, however, these still don't activate.

PC, Driver Updater and Anti-Track still do not recognize the subscription and asks for payment, even when I try to use the Use Subscription link..not working.

Phone, VPN still does not recognize/accept the Ultimate/Pro subscriptions. Same as above.
