1) disable AVG from traybar
2) from setting - general disable auto-defense
3) from msconfig untick AVG at startup
4) from win services disable all AVG services
5) reboot pc
6) from task scheduler disable all AVG instances (otherwise AVG restarts after 30 minutes)

Hello Pier,
Thank you for reaching AVG Support Community.
We're glad to look into it and help you.
In general, AVG Antivirus services will start running along with the windows startup.
Please clarify whether you're referring to an AVG AntiVirus FREE user interface on the Windows startup or essential AVG services in the Task manager.
For better clarity, please share the screenshot of the AVG startup you're referring to. If needed, please find a quick guide on how to take a screenshot here.

Please ensure the AVG Internet Security is the latest version.
Updating Virus definitions and AVG AntiVirus application version

Please mention the version of your Windows operating system.
Thanks for your understanding.

i want run my pc WHITOUT AVG.
i have AVG from 2 years. before in the settings, there was an entry to completely disable in startup of win, now this entry is no longer there ...
and i know from cmd-msconfig on start tab it's possible untick this entry from startup, but it seems incredible that there is no entry in the settings for this ...
