We'd recommend you to follow the below steps and check the status.
- Repair the AVG Secure VPN program, for repair steps, please refer this article.
- Updated Java, for more details, please refer this article.
- Configured the Enhanced Firewall in AVG Internet Security, such as ensuring the application rules are allowed, Wi-Fi networks are allowed as a trusted connection. For more details, please check this article. If the issue persists, uninstall the AVG Secure VPN, run the AVG Clear & remover tool to delete the unwanted old AVG traces. Uninstalling AVG Secure VPN. - Restart the computer.
- Reinstalling AVG Secure VPN and activate the AVG Secure VPN
- Changing your DNS settings to troubleshoot issues with AVG products
- Configure the AVG Secure VPN settings as follows, Open the AVG Secure VPN> Menu> Settings> Network security > uncheck the "Exclude private networks". On the left pane, click Experimental > change the VPN protocol to Mimic and check the status.
