I turned on my Windows xp sp2 this morning after returning home from a vacation and I got a message from AVG saying that they blocked several threats on my computer that is called Win32/Heri which they classify as a virus that has infected googleupdate.exe in my local settings apllication data folder. I did a brief google search on this virus and it appears that on your support page that was a reoccuring error on older AVG software where this virus warning would pop up when it wasn't really there. So I'm trying to figure out what to do, do I have a virus (which is unlikely due to being gone for the week.) or is this a error of some kind? if it's the latter then how do I fix this error or should I simply remove AVG from this computer?
