You can add your preferred search engine in the AVG Secure Browser.
Please follow the below steps to change your preferred search engine in AVG Secure Browser:
Open AVG Secure Browser and go to ⋮ Menu (three dots) ▸ Settings.
Scroll to the Search engine section.
Click the drop-down menu next to Search engine used in the address bar and select your preferred search engine.
If you search engine not available on the list. You can edit one of the existing search engines & change it's URL to the search engine of your choice.

It would be great to get a fix because when I launch the AVG browser, my first step is clicking on the home button to navigate to duckduckgo. Do-able but a pain because it has to be done with every window, and I open lots of windows for research. Thanks!
