AVG Secure Browser and VPNs

I have subscriptions for AVG Internet Security, VPN, Tune-up, Driver updater, Antitrack and BreachGuard - I have been impressed with these, so when I was prompted to try AVG Secure Browser I thought I would give it a go. In the AVG Browser, to the left of the address bar, is a grey and crossed through "VPN", indicating that the browser is not protected by a VPN, even though I have AVG VPN running. Please help.

Hello Mike,
Thank you for reaching AVG Community Support.
We understand your concern regarding accessing VPN feature on AVG Secure Browser. We would like to clarify the difference between AVG Secure VPN and AVG Secure Browser VPN which is different from each other.
AVG Secure VPN is a virtual private network that secures your internet connection using an encrypted tunnel to disguise your real location.
AVG Secure Browser VPN can be accessed only when you upgrade it into a paid version AVG Secure Browser PRO.
Secure Browser VPN, available in Secure Browser PRO, is an advanced security feature that fully encrypts your online activity, loads web pages faster, and gives you access to over 30 locations worldwide. AVG Secure Browser automatically connects to the optimal location to disguise your location. Typically, optimal location is the VPN location for your device that provides the fastest browsing experience (not necessarily the closest location), but may depend on your internet provider.
or more information on using Secure Browser VPN, refer to the following article:
