penny Lane Smith AVG Anti Virus set up
I have recently installed the free anti virus on my new windows 11 laptop. it shows as an icon on my desktop and i have set up an account. why do I keep getting warnings that I am not protected by McAffe I have completed a scan as well so I think it is installed correctly these pop ups are driving me mad help

It sounds like there might be conflicting of antivirus softwares. We will surely help you to get this sorted.
Have you installed both AVG and MacAfee on your computer?
If so please uninstall MacAfee so that you will not get any unwanted popup from other antivirus programs.
If you still get the popup please help us with screenshot (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=AVG-Create-screenshot&q=How+to+create+a+screenshot&supportType=home) of the popup so that we can check and help you further.
