Firefox browser

My avg is blocking my Firefox browser from the Internet. Google Chrome, Microsoft edge, internet explorer all connect fine.
This just started a couple of days ago.
Firefox will connect if I turn off my enhanced firewall. Don't want to do that 
How do you fix.

It is possible that this problem may occured due to a corrupted installation during a recent update.
