Disable Outlook Add-in

CAN THE ADD-IN IN OUTLOOK FOR WINDOWS BE DISABLED? 

EXACTLY WHAT PROGRAM FUNCTIONS OR FEATURES DOES THIS ADD THAT ARE CRITICAL AND CANNOT BE REMOVED?

Do you want to disable Outlook from AVG scanning?

I went round and round and round and round on another thread, let's not retread that ground. 

Simple Question: Can. The. AVG Add-in in Outlook for Windows be Disabled without eliminating critical aspects of e-mail scanning that are necessary to protect the computer, the only reason the program is installed in the first place? 

If all the add-in does is include the signature on e-mails sent, maybe it can be disabled. 

I am having extreme problems with Hotmail accounts prompting for password over and over, suggestion to solve problem is to remove add-ins. Will try this as a test if can be done.

We would like to inform you that, if you use an email client (such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird), AVG AntiVirus may include a Virus-free message (previously an email signature) at the bottom of your outgoing emails to let your recipients know that the email has been scanned for malware. This setting is enabled by default.

Please refer to this below article to manage Email Shield settings in the latest version of AVG Internet Security and AVG AntiVirus FREE.

Also, please share the screenshot of Hotmail accounts prompting for password and showing to remove add-ins. It would help us to find the exact issue and assist you.
