AVG Driver Updater

PCI Express Root Complex - update stuck on :"Waiting..."
Have removed Driver Updater, closed down then restarted PC, new download and installation of Driver Updater and problem persists.

Thank you for contacting AVG Community.
We appreciate your efforts in working towards fixing the issue.
Please try the below steps & let us know if it helps : 
  • Press Windows+R keys to open the "Run" dialog box.
  • Type "services.msc" and click OK.
  • In the "Services" console, locate and right-click AVG Driver Updater, and select "Stop".
  • Keep the "Services" window opened.
  • Open File Explorer and enter the following path to the address line: C:\ProgramData\AVG\Driver Updater
  • Delete the file "DUState.dat"
  • Go back to the window "Services", right-click the service you previously stopped and select "Start".
  • Open AVG Driver Updater and scan for new drivers. If you're having trouble opening Driver Updater, restart the computer and try again.
