Malware

After uploading the latest upgrade from apple when I try to use my printer I get a pop-up warning message stating; PDFTOPDF>FILTER will
damage your computer. Report Malware to Apple. If this is malware why is it not removed by AVG? What can I do to remove this problem?

Thank you for the information, David.
It looks like that this popup is a default one appearing for the PDF file that you are trying to print.
Could you confirm whether it appears for any other file or does it appear whenever you try to access the printer?

Thank you for checking it.
If this was a potential threat, then AVG would have definitely stopped ad informed the status through a popup.
Could you please click on "show in finder" and "?" symbol and check whether it shows more details about the 'PdftoPdf.filter'?

Thank you, David.
We believe this is not a virus.
The filter is supplied by the printer you are using.
Uninstall your printer: Apple Logo (Upper Left of Screen)/System Preferences/Printers & Scanners. Then restart your PC.
Check if you can print. If the issue persists, please contact the device manufacturer support.
