Hi Joseph,

McAfee Live Safe comes under protection category and it should have any issues with AVG TuneUp as it comes under performance category.

I turned off auto renewal for AVG TuneUp because a McAfee Support Agent took control of my DELL laptop to fix a problem with McAfee LiveSafe.  The agent said that there was a conflict with AVG TuneUp and he unistalled your app from my laptop.  This is why I am not re-newing my subscription for AVG TuneUp.  It is no longer installed on my DELL laptop due to its removal by the McAfee Support Agent.  One of you is not being honest -- I think.  Thank You for your reply.

Joseph, we understand your concern.

We did truly explained you the use of the program.

As mentioned earlier, McAfee is a security program whereas AVG TuneUp is a performance oriented software. So, it wont conflict with the McAfee Live Safe. It will optimize the computer and improves the performance.

We are sorry to hear that AVG program has been uninstalled from your computer. However, you still have the subscription, you can install the program later.

I realize that I cannot expect you to know everything about a competitor's product.  McAfee LiveSafe has a QuickClean function and a WebAdvisor function.  McAfee LiveSafe is not only a Virus Protection app.  It has other functions that you may not be aware of.  My theory is McAfee removed AVG Tuneup because it may delete some necessary files for these two functions to work properly.  Thank you for your reply -- but I do not plan on reinstalling AVG TuneUp since it was removed from my laptop by a McAfee support agent to fix problems with LiveSafe.
