AVG Free delays Start of uTorrent

Hi,
I'm using AVG Free and since the last Update (Version 22.10.3258 - Build 22.10.7633.439) I've noticed that it now takes over 45 Seconds to start my Torrent Software "uTorrent".
All the other Software on my PC (for Example Word, Excel, Firefox, Nero Burning) works fine, it only take 1 or 2 Seconds for them to start, the Problem only occurs with uTorrent.

Sorry, I'm from Germany, my AVG Free is in German and I didn't know the English Words:
I've disabled different things in AVG Free like the "Datei-Schutz" and the "Verhaltensschutz" and I create a "Ausnahme" for utorrent.exe but all this doesn't work at all.

The only Solution is to disable AVG Free completly, it than takes uTorrent 1-2 Seconds to start like it did before.

Because of this, I assume the Problem lies within AVG Free, and I would be glad if you can help me to solve it.

It didn't work, I got the Message
"Sorry, we're currently hard at work improving our Support Center."
Thats realy a great Help !

I'm not stupid, so I managed to "repair" AVG-Antivirus.
After the "Repair" I rebooted my PC 2 Times
But what should I say - It doesn't work at all, the Start of the Software is still delayed by almost 45 Seconds.

So how long did it take before I get an answer from the "Support" ?

For your Inforamtion:
In the meantime I deinstalled AVG Free 2 Time (with the help of AVGClear) and installed it again, but this doesn't help ether.

It's clearly a Probem with AVG (and NO other Software) because if AVG Free is deinstalled or turned off uTorrent starts at once.

Sorry, I don't want a free remote assistance service, because I don't want it that somebody I don't know is messing with my System !

Why for God's sake can you give me a straight Answer and Support here on this Board ?
There are at last 5 (!) Experts here and nobody can help ?

And why should'nt we discuss personal/account related info here ?
It's symply a Problem with the AVG Free Software and I'm asking how to fix it.

Just admit it, you don't have a solution for my problem. so you send someone how should spy out my PC and check my Software an my personal Data.
Do you think I'm stupid and let this happen ?

Well if  you can help me only through "free remote assistance service" than it's Time for me to deinstall AVG Free and start looking for another Anti-Virus-Software.

I figured it out myself !
The Problem lies within the "Ransomware-Protection" Modul
If I disable or deinstall this Option uTorrent starts within 1 Second !

So what did you change here so that uTorrent get blockde ?

To begin, I apologize for the misunderstanding and the entire situation. While I understand your concerns about the remote control, please know that my colleague was only trying to help and expedite the solution. Actions like the ones you described are exactly what we as a company are attempting to protect our users from, and I assure you that this was never our intention.

Furthermore, regarding the issue, you're experiencing, as such, torrenting software is a type of application that should be used with caution. As you may be aware, it employs a variety of techniques to enable users to download specific content, and by definition, AVG will also check any similar software in the same manner.

Nonetheless, I understand that this delayed start frustrates you, and I have a few suggestions that you can try in order to resolve this.

1. Please try adding the installation file and the folder itself where you have your uTorrent" application installed.
You can find a detailed explanation in German, on how to do so here:

2. Add "uTorrent" appin allowed app lsit as described here:

This will exclude the torrent application completely, and should not make further issues with a delayed start, but note that the application will not be scanned by AVG.

Hello, My name is Sevdalin Chavdarov and I have the same probem. I am using AVG Internet security and I can confrim the same problem. The problem comes from Ransomware Protection. Once it is turned off all comes good, but I am not sure why I am paying for.
With previous update there was a problem with email sheild. I had to turn it off and losing SSL securty policy. I don`t even check did you update that. Now this problem

it's starting to get a bit annoying if we have to tweak something every time to make something else work
Please make the necessary changes as soon as possible because even though I have paid for the next 2 years I am starting to think about changing the software

By the way, adding Torrent to allowed apps did not resolve the problem
The problem could be resolved only if Ransomeware Protection being turned off

Ah, an Answer.
But this Answer didn't help at all.
1.) Adding the installation file and the folder itself where you have your uTorrent" application installed.
and
2.) Add "uTorrent" appin allowed app
didn't help at all because it didn't worked and uTorrent is still checked even if you say:
"This will exclude the torrent application completely, and should not make further issues with a delayed start, but note that the application will not be scanned by AVG. "

So I had to deinstall the "Ransomware Protection" because nothing else works and now the Problem is solved.

AVG should know what they changed in this Module so they can change it Back in the next Update
