uninstall

Trying to uninstall AVG free from desktop - windows. constantly being asked for password. Of course, I don't have it anymore. Followed guide to use AVG clear this still requesting password. Is there any work around?

You can try restarting the computer in safe mode & then attempt to use AVG Clear. Before proceeding, please share us the screenshot of the prompt that requires password for better clarity.

Thanks for the Assist. Worked. Maybe AVG should update their instructions as this is the opposite of the walkthrough they provide
