Cancelling AVG account

Will be cancelling my subscriptions as they become due.  If you ever come up with a one plan that includes all the selected services, please let me know.  I've been a satisfied customer for over twenty years and there is a never-ending billing cycle going on

My bank account has been direct debited excessiive amounts over the last 2 years, well over the original annual fee I agreed to. I was never advised or sent an invioce for these amounts. 
I only have one device, A Laptop that is mainly used for personal Emails. I have called AVG regarding this problem and  haven't had an explaination. Amounts debited 2023 $317.74,  2024 $179.34. 
I would be grateful if someone from AVG could explain WHY this is happing.
