AVG Secure Search

Is there a way to keep the AVG Search page from automatically becoming my home page in Firefox?  Every time I restart Firefox, AVG had hijacked my homepage, so I uninstalled Secure Search.  But I would like to still use it if I can figure out how to stop this.

I certainly understand your concern. Please click on this link: http://download-toolbar.avg.com/partners/common/AVG%20Secure%20Search.exe to download the AVG Secure search. When you install it you will only get the AVG Secure search has homepage but you can change your homepage for Firefox by following the instructions mentioned in this Firefox support link: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-to-set-the-home-page .
