AVG won't load on computer

Today I purchased AVG Pro for $59.99 and clicked on the download button from the confirming e-mail message.  It attempted to load and after approximately 20 min it gave an error message. Unable to load Error Message  0xE001D029.   I purchased AVG because I have had it in the past and it was very good keeping my computer virus free.  I had a malware which took out part of my initiation program and had to reinstall windows. (Windows CP sp-3)  I would very muxh like to get AVG again  but the computer keeps telling me it times out and does not successfully load the AVG Program.
What should I do?  What should I do?   Please respond.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Please remove AVG traces using AVG Remover Tool( http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe )and then reinstall your program 'AVG Protection'( http://avgread.me/1FKGRZI ). Please let us know the results.
