Cannot access online banking

Suddenly today I cannot access my bank on line (Arvest) I have no problem accessing anywhere else I want to go. When I try any, and I do mean any, method the page times out or the error message is that the web page is unavailable. I spent almost 3 hours with Arvest and they confirm I am not blocked in any way. I cannot even access them through a link in an email that the telco sent me in an attempt to help.

T.A., Does it work if you disable AVG?.. Have a look @ this article (http://avgclick.me/TempDisableAVG). If so try to find the culprit by disabling individual components. Have a look @ this article (http://avgclick.me/DisableComponents).

One day, a week ago, I was able to access Arvest from the affected computer, but have not been able to since.

I had trouble logging onto my internet banking service that gave a server timeout problem

On AVG internet security
Open AVG
Click on internet security
Click Menu then Settings
Click components
Click on Customise online shield
Un-tick 'Enable HTTPS scanning"

This solved my problem!

I have added the exceptions but it does not help. Only thing that helps is disabling the https scanning. The website opens but I am unable to logon.

Upon checking your previous posts, it seems that you have installed AVG Internet Security unlimited 2017 instead of AVG Internet Security, so please try to uninstall all AVG Products via control panel and try to reinstall AVG Internet Security using the instructions provided in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Internet-Security-or-Premium-Security and install AVG PC tune up using the instructions provided in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-download-and-install-AVG-PC-TuneUp .
