Error code: 0xC007064C Context: Event exec_finished

Hi friends,
I got this error code:
Error code: 0xC007064C
Context: Event exec_finished

after I uninstalled my 2015 AVG Ultimate due to unwanted blocking.
The AVG is still exist in the Windows 8.1 Program and Features after I uninstalled it, so basically there is something wrong with the uninstallation.

My question is, how to completely remove this AVG from the O/S, or is there any certain tool to uninstall the AVG? Norton has this kind of software (to wipe its software completely from the hdd).

My proprietary certificate is still blocked by AVG, so I can not use my computer to run my proprietary software.

Best regards,
Wan

Hello, Wan. Please have a look at this article to uninstall AVG. http://avgclick.me/UninstallAVGAV

Hi Sathish,

Thank you for your reply. I still got confused. The AVG remover is not working because the problematic application is the AVG Zen, and the remover application stated that it does not remove the AVG Zen. Is there any AVG Zen remover application?

Hi Joyson,
Thank you for your reply. I did it many times (including restarting the computer) before I posted my question. I did it again after I read your reply, unfortunately the AVG line is still displayed in the Program and Features, and I got the sama error message when I tried to uninstall it.

Hello Wan. For your information AVG Zen is just an interface in which AVG Protection and AVG Performance gets installed and works from it. AVG Remover Tool will remove only the components and the AVG Zen should be uninstalled from the control panel list of programs.

Please feel free to contact us should you need any further assistance.

Hi Balasubramanian,
Thank you for your reply. My other computers do not have AVG line in the Programs and Features (and AVG icon in the Desktop) anymore after I uninstalled the AVG products. In this computer, they are still exist.
This afternoon I reinstalled the AVG again, and uninstalled it. Now I got an 0xE001F90F (This Action is Only Valid for Products that are Currently Installed) error message, instead of the previous error message.
Definitely, I still need your help to get rid off of the AVG line in the Programs and Features.

Regards,
Wan

For your information, the AVG Service is still exist (can be checked using Task Manager) and it is automatically started after I rebooted my computer.

Hi.  I have a very similar problem.  I used the AVG remover tool to remove AVG 2015.  Now I have AVG (Zen) on my list of installed software.  I followed the directions shown above at http://bit.ly/1ckzcV5, and re-booted, but the uninstall fails, giving error message 0xc007064C.
Can Balasubramanian send the email instructions to my email address too?
Thank you.

Hi Susan, the last alternative is contacting AVG Customer Support and they will fix the problem by remoting your computer and perform the procedures. In my case, I deleted all of registries that contain AVG info, and installed other Internet Security software (not AVG) on this computer; by myself.

Hi!
I haven't got your e-mail message, but in the end I solved my problem. I uninstall all AVG, after I started AVG Remover and I removed all I could (although I did it earlier). And in the end...I did it. I installed only AVG (v 1.31.1.48846) and AVG Protection (v. 2016.31.7357) without any supplements and now it's OK ;)
Greetings ;)

Hello Gabriel,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We understand how something like this will try your patience.
Mostly this error is occur due to anyother Antivirus program or previously installed AVG on your system.
Is there any other Antivirus program or AVG program installed on your system? If so, please uninstall it and try to install AVG program.
May I know the name of the AVG program you wish to install?
Please refrain from carrying out multiple postings on the same subject! You won't obtain an answer to your query any faster!
