0xcoo70643 error when installing and failing removal tool

I'm trying to reinstall AVG2014 on a x86 Windows 7 machine. The repair option was failing, so I uninstalled and tried a reinstall but received the 0xcoo70643 error. I followed instructions here and tried using the Removal tool, but that also crashes halfway through. How I can provide the logs and removal tool crash dump?

Hi Kevin,
Your issue is most likely caused by missing/disabled "Base Filtering Engine" try refer to this (http://www.registryrecycler.com/blog/2013/09/repair-and-restore-base-filtering-engine-bfe/) to fix it.
Thanks

You can upload to the AVG FTP server (http://kb.avg.com/articles/en_US/How_to/How-to-upload-a-file-to-our-FTP-server/) and provide AVG with the name of file here.

I've uploaded them to ftp://ftp.avg.com/incoming/ with the filenames: 5b551cbc-ad84-44e0-9608-bc935c920943-AVGInstLog.cab and 5b551cbc-ad84-44e0-9608-bc935c920943-remover.exe.3728.dmp.
Thanks.

From this link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x86_2014_4116.exe
It seems I can no longer upload the files, I just receive a permission error. I can email them to you, or provide me with an appropriate ftp site again.

"Base Filtering Engine".. For info this standard AVG article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Code-0xC0070643-or-0xC007001C-when-installing-AVGCAK) has also now been produced.
