Hello bob
Make sure that you are using legal FortiGuard Antispam Service
http://www.fortiguard.com/static/antispam.html
Generally, this is a service to protect your email
You can uninstall it if you do not wish to use
Thanks

perhaps I was not clear Boris, I do NOT have Fortiguard in my machine and only wish to eliminate it on incoming mail to my Outlook Express mail accounts - because it "takes over" the subject line and text body so I must delete on responses or do free advertising for Fortiguard - did I make it more clear now ?

Yes. bob
I know that you do not want Fortiguard
If you do not use it, then you should remove it

FortiGuard Service is not connected with AVG. This is a product of a third party that you have installed, even unconsciously
Thanks

thanks for the lnks Boris, but they are "after the fact" and would mean double work for each email - what I need is a filter to stop fortiguard but pass everything else in the email

Here instructions are given on how to activate (enable) Filtering your email
Go to UTM Profiles - Email Filter Profile and select Enable Spam Detection and Filtering.
http://docs-legacy.fortinet.com/cb/html/index.html#page/FOS_Cookbook/UTM/cb_utm_sf_filtering_incoming_spam.html
You should disable this feature to stop her

Please then activate protection, AVG scan
