AVG Free Anti Virus 2015.0.5961 error installing.

I am a volunteer medical doctor since 1967 treating people all over the world in primary war zones for no personal financial compensation.  (I have used AVG Anti Virus for about fourteen years free, being a have no credit card or qualify for one).

In fourteen years, give or t take a few years I have never had one problem with my three computers instlling the newest versions.  

My two desktops run, Windows 7 Home Premium X86 32bit.  My HP laptop notebook runs Windows 7 Ultimate X86 64bit.  All updates during 2014 and 2015 updated with no problems.  I keep my computers 100%, Microsoft critical updates every second tuesday of the month are installed, including all optional updates.  All scans with my security programs always shows 100% clean.  

Installed version AVG Free Anti Virus 2015.0.5941 installed and operating fine.  The newest version 2015.0.5961 that came out last week, will not install on any of the three computers.  All say error, (not showing what the error is). or "computer not protected".  (I am an expert in computer security and I am unable to resolve this problem. 

I only download my software from the primary source and never from third party downloads.   Please advise a solution, link or is there a problem with how the software is written.  Strange that newest version will not install in three computers.  This problem has never happen before, using every platform that Microsoft ever came out with.

Hello Hubert. Sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. I would request you to follow the below mentioned instructions:

1) First step is to use AVG Remover tool and uninstall your current AVG program completely. To download AVG Remover Tool please click on the following link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

4) Second step is to use AVG BFE Fix tool. To download AVG BFE Fix Tool please click on the following link: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_BFEfix.exe .
5) Run the downloaded file, click Accept to confirm the license agreement, and then click Continue. Your computer will be automatically restarted.
6) Run the AVG installation again. To download and install AVG Antivirus Free please click on the following link: http://bit.ly/1cvJ6DX .

I sincerely apprecate  your support.  AVG Remover tool, I allowed the tool to run thirty minutes on all three computers and the tool failed to remove AVG FREE ANTI VIRUS.   I have software that monitors all downloads and uploads and at no time during the thirty minute period was there any download data from this tool.   In the past I have always used state of the art software uninstallers that scan my entire registry keys and removes all related keys for any given software.  Has always performed 100% for AVG Anti Virus and all other anti virus that require their own special tool.  (I am a beta tester for security software).  Plus I always use hot keys, type in c://program files, and delete AVG File.  If file is locked, I used another software that will unlock the file on a reboot.  Plus I type regedit, open all registry keys and if by chance there are any registry keys related to  AVG, I remove the on a manual basis. 

Apprecate your support, I will have to try my own software uninstallers again and if AVG Free Anti Virus 2015.0.5961 fails to install. I will just revert back to V. 5941 that installs on all three computers with no problems.   (Plus I never see what is in the new version).  Anyway as a certified beta tester I find AVG is the only AVG Anti Virus that actually performs and works 100% in real time to kill any virus, trojan, malware, worms, PUP or adware in real time. with no reboot necessary.All others fail in this respect.  

Majority of my work is in, China, Romania, Russia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Africa.  (And there servers that these third world medical doctors use are highly infected.  Not one of them ever get pass AVG Anti Virus Free in REAL TIME PROTECTION.  PLUS EVEN BLOCKS INFECTED WEBPAGES WITH INFECTED SCRIPT ERRORS IN REAL TIME.  

Apprecate your support.  Sorry that your removal tool fails to work in all of my three computers.

Hello Hubert. I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Have you received any error message while uninstalling AVG Antivirus using the AVG Remover Tool?

Hello Kishore:

No, I have not received any error message while using the AVG Removal Tool.  The tools does not work on all three computers.  I ran the AVG Removal tool for one hour on each computer and all I see is the GUI is the green bar flashing "downloading data:".  I have bandwidth montering installed in all three computers and monitor shows 0 download 0 upload.   There is no "red data", or "green data upload", just blank.  I can uninstall with all of my uninstallers and all the registry keys are removed, those left are removed with a reboot.  Plus I delete the AVG file myself and check regedit for any AVG registry keys that may be left and there are none.  

I installed at seperate times three different other Anti Virus software that usually need a tool to complete the removal in all three computers and the Anti Virus uninstalled with three other tools 100%. 

I am unable to find any AVG webpage that shows what is updated in the new version of AVG Free Anti Virus, 2015.0.5961, because I use Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit in two desktops and Windows 7 Home Ultimate 64bit in HP Notebook laptop. My browsers is IE11.  Because if there is only a update to Windows 8 or Windows 10, or IE10 I do not need the update and stay with AVG Free Anti Virus 2015.0.5941 that installs 100% error free.  No matter how many times I try the V.5961 will not install, I get error try to download again.  

Sincerely apprecate all of your support and time.   (I have a legal and moral obligation to make sure that my computers are always 100% clean).  All of my software is current and hardware, and keyboards are replaced the instant I notice or feel there may be a problem.  

There does not seem to be a solution to installing AVG Free Anti Virus V. 2015.0.5961.  If you are some other person can tell me what is new in this version, I can determine if I can live with the previous version of last month.  I made not need the new version.   I feel bad taking up all your time and energy.

Hello Dr. Hurbert. I appreciate your efforts so far and thank you for the brief information. The new update will contain the new virus definitions and link scanner definitions. I would request you to boot your PC to safe mode, download the offline installation file of AVG free and try to install.

Dear Kishore & Avinash:

I want to thank you both with all my heart and soul for all the time and effort you spent, supporting my wife and me who are both volunteer medical doctors, especally being that we do not have any credit cards or bank accouints. 

Avinash, with prior versions of AVG FREE ANTI VIRUS, I was able to use my search engine for an AVG primary webpage with the free download version.  Downloads with the "STB", only would not work with 5961 version, only with all prior versions.  I was unable to find the link you gave me for the full 166mb download for 32bit or 180mb download for my 64bit.  

Was not necessary to put any of the three computers in a "sleep mode", my own desktop 32bit would only install custom install, removing "languages".  and no reboot was necessary.  My wife, Dr. Brenda, her desktop computer 32bit would only install, with a standard install and a reboot to complete the installation.  This was the same for the HP notebook 64bit .

Again I thank you all from my heart and soul for your kindness and great support to customers who have no ability to purchase your software.  (All our software is donated, on an annual basis or life time subscription, including our laptop, desktop computers with Windows 7 platforms. 

As a beta tester I was about to have a panic attack, because I have tested every known Anti Virus software on the world wide web and over the fourteen years AVG Prague, is the only Anti Virus that kills/cleans any virus, spyware, malware, pups, worms, trojans, script malware in any language, etc. etc. in REAL TIME PROTECTION 100% PERCENT.  All others claim real time protection, and not one of t he perform as they claim.  Your computer is infected and some either clean with a reboot  100%, partial clean, or not find the infection at all. 

Both my wife and me are sorry that our situation as volunteer medical doctors does not qualify us for any kind of credit card or bank account.    

AVG Anti Virus technology is light years ahead of any other known Anti Virus Software free or subscribe in the world wide web.  Your software engineers perform a really great job.
