PC tune up

AVG free edition 2014 had a button to run a simple tune up utility. I have now up-dated to 2015 edition and this has disappeared,  Is this deliberate, and can I restore it in any way?  Or is this now only a paid-for product?

Hi John, you can right-click the AVG tray icon and select "Run PC Analyzer." My personal advice would be not to install PC TuneUp, which is neither simple nor free.

John, The PC Analyzer component is an advanced tool for detailed system analysis and correction for how the speed and overall performance of your computer might be improved.

Sure you can "analyze," just don't click "Fix now." CCleaner Free is a better choice. BTW Windows error reports are only "junk files" if you never look at them.

I have found the program now thanks. It used to appear as an option on the interface menu so I assumed as it was no longer there, that the tune up prog had been removed.

Version 5557 has a new and exciting "Fix Performance" button which is actually a "Download PC TuneUp" button.
