AVG 2015 causing "bad_pool_header"?

I can no longer maintain internet connections for an extended time due to blue screen of death.. After much searching and trial of solutions, I finally see it may be AVG protection causing this issue.  Anyone else?

Hi Margaret, sorry to know that. May I know since how long have you been facing this issue? Are you facing this issue after updating AVG Anti-Virus or optimizing your computer using AVG PC TuneUp? May I know the recent hardware/software change done in your computer? Thanks.

I am getting the same thing using Chrome. I have to use another browser now.

Hello Jeremiah. Do you mean you are getting the blue screen while running only Google Chrome?

Hi, yesterday my free AVG2013 said I should upgrade to a new version. I did.

Today starting the Eclipse development tool I got "bad pool header" every time. I had to disable AVG in order to start Eclipse. I mean Eclipse Mars 1.

Hello Evgeni,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
I certainly understand that your Eclipse Mars 1 development tool is being blocked by our AVG program.
If it is the trusted application then you can add the path of the development tool where it is installed to the AVG's Exception by following the instructions mentioned in this link: http://avgread.me/18WB2dg .
Please also submit us the threat detected sample to us via http://samplesubmit.avg.com/ .
Please feel free to contact us should you need any assistance.
Thank you.

So, try out these following steps:

Try reinstall- Download avg again.
Update Windows or drivers if you can- this might let you work (If your PC shows BSODs after updating Windows or certain drivers, remove them and see if it works)
Scan RAM and other disks for errors and faulty data. (sfc /scannow)
