Activate AVG Internet Security

I have a free version of AVG Internet Security installed and need to enter the key to activate it. The FAQ describes how to find the 'Activate' option on the 'Options' menue, but there is no "Activate' button on the drop down on my computer. How do I activate it?

Hello John. I certainly understand your concern. Please be informed that we do have AVG Internet Security trial version and AVG Internet Security Paid version. Trial version doesn't need any activation code. Once trial version has been installed in your pc, you can enjoy the benefit of AVG Internet Security for 30 days. I am sorry, I didn't explain fully. I am comming to the end of the 30 days and need to activate it to keep it going. I have purchased a 2 computer licence with my other computer which was approaching the renewal of its AVG Internet Security. I now need to activate the free version installed on my computer.

Hello John. Please click on "Support" at the top of your AVG and then check if you could see "Reactivate" to click on. If you see that option, please click on it and enter your new license number to activate AVG. If you do not have "Reactivate" button to click on, it means you installed a different product. Please check your computer if you have installed AVG Zen and let me know for any further assistance.

Yes Zen is installed on my computer. What do I do now? Do I have to remove it and start again?

Thanks. I will go through this long process tomorrow. I think AVG needs to get its products sorted out. This is a rediculous process to go through to buy a product. I wish I had stayed with Norton.

I am sorry to hear about that, John. But you seem to have downloaded the trial version of AVG protection instead of the trial version of AVG Internet security which you have purchased now.
