Install AVG 2014 Free from thumb drive

Hello,  I have one computer that is no longer able to connect to the internet.   I want to try and use AVG 2014 Free version on it.  Can I copy the install file from my other computer on to a thumb drive/memory stick or even a cd to use for installation on my computer that does not connect to the internet?

Thanks

Frank, You actually need to copy & install either the 32 or 64bit file from this link (http://free.avg.com/download-free-all-product). Also if you're not sure about 32 or 64 bit on the non-internet computer system have a look @ this link (http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-free-forum?sec=thread&act=show&id=140471#post_140471). You can then copy & install manually update files to keep your AVG updated.

Alan, Thanks! I have copied both the 32 and 64 bit files to my thumb drive.  I will use the instructions to see what operating system the PC has.  The PC that has the problem is my sisters.  I will be visiting her mid July 2014.   I will let you know how I make out with installing AVG 2014 Free on her PC.

Thanks Again!
