Fake Flashplayer blocked

My homepage is google.co.uk and AVG AV2015 (paid) has blocked it because it maintains that there is a fake flashplayer exploit on the page. It does this in Chrome and IE (both latest versions).
I can go to other google sites (.es .de for example) and there is no apparent issue. I have done the usual clear the cache, cookies etc and I have removed flash player (from W7) and anything adobe, rebooted and re-installed still no joy. I have not tried removing and reloading IE or Chrome as I would suggest that this is a false report, the details for the issue (goes to http://www.avgthreatlabs.com/ww-en/website-safety-reports/domain/google.co.uk/linkreport/www.google.co.uk%252F/?utm_source=TDPU&utm_medium=OS&PRTYPE=AV) suggests
"Navigation on this site is not recommended.

1 compromised pages have been found on google.co.uk"

if I manually go to threatlabs and enter google.co.uk it suggests it is probably safe.
So, the logical question is the threat real, and if not how do I fix this issue with AVG reporting an issue with the webpage?

ok issue is the router has been compromised, reset to factory default, re-entered the details and all is well ...... but ...... cannot manually set DNS settings which suggests router will be compromised again given time. It appears the manufacturer does not have any firmware updates available either so I guess a new one will be required. Thanks Divya for the link, another issue resolved
