Runtime error

I have recently had thre following message twic - Runtime error 216 at 00405F66

What is this and what do I need to do, please?

All my AVG programs appear to be installed and running, I just seem to get this message occasionally -

Runtime error 216 at 00405F66

When I googled it it said it could be a virus and the registry might need cleaning? Being a 'silver surfer' I am not sure what to do next?  Janet​​
