Hi, I just purchased AVG Internet Security for R296.95 (Order number:700-5614731) but the installation keeps failing with the error message given below.

Hi Boris, I tried everything you suggested. I even went to safe mode but still no joy! I had a live chat with AVG staff and the first guy coujld not help me so he put a higher tech to chat with me; who also could not help me and HE put me through on the chat with even a higher technitian. THAT guy took over control of my PC and even HE could not fix it for me. So he saved some log file and uploaded it to his server and told me they will look at it and return to me. Nobody came to me as yet.
It is interesting to note that I tried to install even the free version but the same problem present itself.
Then I tried to install AVG on my laptop AND THE SAME PROBLEM...can you believe that!!
The weird thing is, I had the free version running on Windoes 10 a few days ago and it worked greatly. Then I decided I like AVG a lot and wanted the firewall as well, so I purchased a 1 year subscription and can you believe that I have this problem. The free version worked on Windows 10 but not the purchased one AND now the free version don't want to install as well!!!! Maybe I should go back to Norton.
I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused in this case. I just checked that a case regarding your refund request has been successfully created. Our AVG Refund team will process the case and will contact you via email. Please feel free to contact us back for any further assistance.
