Robert Ruth Canon 8800F Scanner not working
My Canon 8800F scanner no longer works after reinstalling my AVG . I have a PC with Windows 7 64bit. The scanner had worked fine and then i experienced a problem with AVG not working. I completely erased AVG and reinstalled AVG. The scanner still worked after the entire AVG program was installed (the firewall was not active yet and needed the computer to turned off and then on to become active.) After the reboot the scanner " could not connect." I tried turning the firewall off, but the scanner still gave the "can't connect" notice. Any suggestions on what I should change?
We really appreciate your valuable efforts which you have taken to fix it. Since you have mentioned that you had reinstalled AVG Protection we would wish to confirm whether you tried to uninstall the AVG Protection using AVG Remover Tool, if not we would request you to try once to reinstall the AVG Protection and check once with your Canon applications.
Note: If you have installed any other conflicting programs like AVAST,NORTON, McAfee or KASPERSKY means please try to uninstall it.
Once you have uninstalled from your system,try to follow the steps which mentioned below.
Remover and Download
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
