Sorry, could you be more specific on your issue so that we can assist you better? May I know the reason for stating AVG Free Antivirus as a malware when installed on Windows 10?
I am a just a PC user, not a "tech support" guy, but I think I understand your question.
If you are getting a report that AVG is malware, most likely another anti-virus type (anti-spyware, anti-adware, firewall, etc.) app is running already.
It's very likely Windows' built-in security detecting it. Often, one malware tool will detect another tool as a "threat" and report it as such. (It's something in the software code.... I guess along the lines of "you gotta think like a criminal to catch one.")
If you know that the threat is "safe" (because you just installed it on purpose) you can do something along these lines: ignore the notification, "allow" it, disable the other program (unless you want it to run as an extra security measure knowing you're going to get these messages from time to time) or uninstall the other program (unless it's one that's built-in to Windows).
I see that you wrote this question a while back, so you may have figured it out already. It's always good to ask different folks (I used to ask my Network Engineer brother-in-law years ago, now I just ask my kids!).

Any-hoo, I hope this is helpful!
