Outlook attachments can't be opened anymore - Tune Up Utilities

Hi, I'm evaluating Tune Up Utilities.Now that this product has "optimized" my PC I can't preview anymore Outlook attachments. It says no Previewer installed BUT if I look in my Outlook Trustcenter how attachments are handled, then all boxes are checked, so theoretically it has to work. I cannot open any Office-Document anymore, which was attached to a mail - be it Word or Excel, not even when I'm downloading it onto my computer. It opens but the canvas remains gray, I have to send it to my Dropbox or OneDrive - there I can open it BUT on my  PC I can't anymore. ALSO PDF Docs can't be previewed anymore and not opened as before, Adobe is saying it cannot open the PDF in protected mode due to an incompatibility with my system. I restored all registry entries which your product has "modified" and it did not help. I actually restored everything that was offered on this list.  I even tried an Office repair - without any success. I have sent mails, called them...nothing.

Hello Jan,
We are sorry to know that TuneUp Utilities have caused this program. In this case, we suggest you to uninstall TuneUp Utilities and see if that fix the issue. If the issue gets resolved. You can reinstall the TuneUp Utilities program.
Thank you

Jan, Just for your info AVG TuneUp Utilities is being discontinued. All support ends December 31, 2016! (http://www.avg.com/campaign-landing-pages/ww-en/tuneup-utilities-end-of-life?).

Hello Karthikeyan Bhaiya, thanks for a canned answer, of course it has not solved the problem.

@Alan
So, your information translate best into "AVG TuneUp Utilities is a scam" for the simple reason that AVG is still selling it. Selling a product which gets discontinued and on top of this has no supprt anymore lacks of business ethics. sad to see what has become of a once amazing product.

So, it's a couple of weeks before the 31rd and let's see if I'm getting here a solution.

Thank you Balasubramanian for not reading my OP, there is clearly stated:
"[...]I restored all registry entries which your product has "modified" and it did not help. I actually restored everything that was offered on this list."
So I already did this step. Please do not send me canned answers, or you know a solution or you don't. I'm heldesking for almost 30 years, it's just that easy.
@Alan:Thanks for the link, I found it myself before. As before said. I did this already, and in fact it was the second choice in my quest for having my PC working as before.
