How good is AVG free anti virus

Hi:-)
How good is AVG free antivirus? Can some viruses not get found in a scan?
AvinashAvinash (Avast)
Hello Marie,
Thank you for choosing AVG. Please note that the choice of whether free version or paid version suites you depends upon the usage of your device. If you use your computer more for online activities like banking, social networking and other browsing, you should have a firewall protection to block malicious content and hackers entering your computer and stealing your information. Firewall and anti spam features are included only in the paid version.
If you do not use your device for browsing much, you can go with the free version of AVG Anti Virus for basic protection.

I do use my computer a lot for online activity. I mostly use youtube and Netflix. Can I still get viruses and get hacked?

Yes, if you are a regular online user then it is highly recommended to purchase our AVG Internet Security which has the firewall that can provide realtime protection from all threats and prevent hackers from hacking your PC.
