Pauline Hargreaves AVG Free Edition
I used to have AVG Free Edition. This froze and I couldn't sort it out. I uninstalled it and downloaded what I thought was another AVG Free version. It came up as the AVG Internet Security Free Trial. I have uninstalled this and downloaded 'Free' versions several times. All of them are AVG Free Trials. I do not want a Free Trial. I have used nothing in these 'Free trials' that was not in my original AVG Free Edition. When I go to the AVG download page I click on the 'Free' version but it always downloads the AVG Internet Security Free Trial. Please can anyone help me get back to my original 'Free Edition' and get rid of these 'Free Trials'?

We understand that you have tried re-installing AVG.
However we request you to uninstall all the traces of AVG using AVG remover tool and try re-install AVG Antivirus free version.
Please download and run AVG remover tool through the following link to uninstall all the traces of AVG.

Please start with a fresh installation of your AVG Antivirus free version through the below link.

Thanks for your reply. I have done exactly what you suggested, using the links you gave me. I have downloaded AVG through your link and it has loaded up with the AVG Internet Security Free Trial (expires in 5 days) that I am trying to get rid of. I just don't know what I can do now. The AVG Free Edition does not seem accessible. Please help if you can. Pauline
