Removal of trial version of Internet Security

A trial version of Internet Security was, without asking, installed with AVG Free and cannot be removed. I keep getting the message: Internet Security is no longer valid, but I cannot get that removed. I de-installed AVG Protection and AVG and then re-installed AVG Free, but de message of Internet Security keeps reappearing. What can I do?

Hello Robert,
We regret for the inconvenience caused. AVG 2016 version we do have AVG ZEN as a interface for AVG Protection Free. Due to the arrival of new threats and infections, we have updated our AVG security program with high new security patches and updates to enhance the computer security. AVG ZEN is a interface for AVG Internet Security and AVG PC Tune up for unlimited Devices. Could you please send the screenshot of your error messages so that we can assist further? Please click on the following link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot  to send the screen shot.
Once AVG Internet security trial period is expired, it automatically downgraded to free version and the software is designed in such a way.
Thank you for understanding.

Hi Robert,

Could you please confirm once if our previous posts are visible to you? We're also sending you the instructions through Email. Please check your Mailbox once.

Thank you!

Yes, as far as I know I received your posts. But it did not help at all... I still got stuck with de Internet Security pop-up. I used AVG_clear, and indeed I do not see anything of AVG in my W10 configuration program. Still I got a fault message when I tried to install AVG Free again. I tried to remove the AVG directories, but that won't work. I've got a AVGInstallLog of about 5MB, but I do not know how to send it to you, if you are interested.
Is there no way to clear everything of AVG files and start anew?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but on my control panel is no mention of AVG at all! So I could not uninstall anything... I tried the download on the link you gave at the end, but I got the same error  message I have already sent you. What now?

At last!! This method has worked! BTW, after using AVG remover and restart (the AVG folder in ProgFiles (x86) was allready gone), I scanned for the term "AVG", the disk is still  litterally crawling with AVG-files, but that did not seem to be a problem.
So, my heartfelt thanks for your help!
