Error Code: 0xe001f98d will not let me reinstall

I am struggling with this issue when trying to reinstall AVG after one of the updates suggested something was wrong and i should reinstall AVG, I have tried everything on every single one of these support sites in an attempt to fix the issue (as I wish to reinstall AVG FREE software): https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-uninstall-AVG            https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000Dab4AAC         https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-uninstall-AVG          none of which have solved my issue. I am on windows 10, have tried AVG remover tool (didn't detect it but I ran it 3 times anyway to be sure and had no luck) and i have also tried to use the AVG_ResetAccess.exe tool (yet again to no success). I have also removed all AVG files manually from: temp,%temp%,%appdata%,%programdata%. if a member of the community has the solution or if a member of the AVG support team could kindly help me out here i would really appreciate it and i' sure i must not be the only one with this problem.
