AVG game mode

Hi, I want to enable game mode How do I do this?

Hello Chris,
Are you trying to enable the Game mode in AVG Internet security unlimited new version? Unfortunately, the Game mode option is not available in the latest version of AVG Internet security unlimited.

I apologize for the inconvenience. The game mode was causing unnecessary conflict with the AVG's scheduled scans and AVG popups from appearing/running and to make the product more simpler and easy to use, this feature was removed. We have got your feedback on this feature and will check this with the developer team.

Madness. Nobody wants stupid pop-ups minimising their game to desktop eveytime AVG wants to say something pointless. Best to have a feature to turn ALL pop-ups off (including AVG program update pop-ups which always popped up and ruined your game regardless of having game mode enabled). Pop-ups are unsolicted and therefore are spam, pure and simple.

Hello Nunya.

I can understand how difficult this is for you. We do have an option in AVG settings called "Silent Mode", if you enable silent mode from AVG, you will not receive any notification from AVG including the AVG scan notifications as well. You can find silent mode from the below location:
open AVG AntiVirus free->Menu->Settings->General->Check Silent mode option.
